Our Safe Working In Water course is for people whose job takes them into the water. Over two days (12 hours) you’ll learn to assess the risks, rescue yourself and help a colleague if something goes wrong.
Time is split between the classroom and our water sites in Swanage, so you put everything into practice.

The Safe Working In Water course is built for professionals who work directly in water and need to be able to rescue themselves and help colleagues in an emergency. Only working near the water? The training emphasises practical skills and knowledge to ensure safety and preparedness while working in or near water. Participants learn about appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and simple rescue techniques to allow safe rescue from both basic and moving water environments.
Upon successful completion, participants receive a Rescue 3 Europe certification, valid for a specified period, equipping them with the necessary skills to perform self-rescue and assist co-workers in water-related emergencies.
