The Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician course training course is intended for personnel who may be required to carry out rescues in a swiftwater and flood environment, including emergency services personnel and mountain rescue teams.
This super-accessible course is based on the South Coast in Swanage, Dorset. Easy access via road or train. We’ll even pick you up from the train station for free.

Module 3 – Water Rescue Technician – Specialist rescue operation
The Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician (SRT) course by Rescue 3 Europe is a 24-hour (4-day) program designed for emergency responders tackling swiftwater and flood rescue situations.
Aligned with Defra Module 3, it covers hydrology, rescue techniques, risk management, and practical skills like rope systems and casualty management.
