The Winter Bushcraft Series will give you the opportunity to learn from expert bushcraft specialists and take your outdoor skills to the next level.

These hands-on sessions are perfect for anyone looking to refine their bushcraft abilities while gaining practical knowledge from seasoned gurus.

Whether you’re a beginner or experienced in the wilderness, you’ll leave with new skills that bring you closer to nature.

There are no pre-course requirements for the workshops. 

Each workshop has a different topic so you can chose from which ones look most interesting to you.

The Winter Bushcraft Series will be taking place at our Woodland near Corfe Castle.

There are toilets about a 5 minute walk from the woodland. 

If you require any specific you'll be informed before hand.

  • Warm Layers
  • Clothes you're happy to get wood smoky/muddy

Our Winter Bushcraft Series will be taking place at our woodland near Corfe Castle.

You'll be met by your Instructor at the Norden Park and Ride and we'll then make our way to the woodland.

As with all adventurous activities Bushcraft comes with associated risks. Land & Wave Instructors will give clear instructions on how to complete each activity safely. It is important that all participants listen carefully and follow these instructions.

Please be careful, burns and cuts are likely unless care is taken.

If cooking or preparing fish and game please wash your hands thoroughly and often, hygiene is really important.

When washing your hands please clean under your nails and above your wrist.

Your session may be cut short or cancelled at any point if the instructor deems it inappropriate for any individual's ability. 

You will be involved throughout the activity in the decision making process. If you feel overwhelmed or unwell at any point you MUST tell your instructor who will be able to react accordingly.

Bushcraft is a physical activity that takes place in the great outdoors; accidental injury is possible.

Accidents can happen; Land & Wave do not accept any responsibility for personal injury unless we have been negligent.

You must tell your instructor about any health issues which may impact your participation such as;

  • Asthma
  • Severe Allergies
  • Mobility Issues 
  • Heart or respiratory issues
  • Mental Health Concerns
