Attention to detail is really important, we need someone that can see where there’s room for improvement and create positive change quickly.

If you’re positive, creative, intelligent and good at problem solving then we’re happy for you to have full autonomy in this role.

We’d love a pragmatic approach to identifying what we’re not good at and the intelligence and ability to do something about it.

  • Very competent using IT and communications equipment, systems and software
  • Experience of recruitment and performance management
  • You’ll need to be excellent with people and be very good at empathy and kindness
  • Intelligence, imagination, energy and flare

This stuff would be useful (but it’s not essential)

  • Rescue 3 – Rope Rescue Technician Instructor – or be on that pathway.
  • Outdoor qualifications – Mountain Leader, RCI, Paddle Sport Leader
  • D1 minibus license
  • A degree (or vocational equivalent) in an interesting and appropriate subject

The Rescue Manager role

As Rescue Manager we’ll pay you £32,000 + profit share bonus.

This is a senior management role. You’ll report to the Directors and help manage a team of Lead Instructors.

You’ll be based at our HQ in Swanage, Dorset.

You’ll be active in delivering Rescue 3 courses, training staff and developing the courses and qualifications that Land & Wave offers. Always moving forwards.

You’ll be the primary contact for many of our Rescue Training clients, the face of the company, the person in the know.

We’d LOVE it if you brought a bunch of Rescue Training contacts and clients with you.
