Prince’s Trust Development Award
There’s never been a better time to work in the UK’s Outdoor Industry.
As a nation we’ve reignited an appreciation for the UK over the last 3 years and the country’s adventure tourism trade is thriving.
As the cost-of-living crisis continues, it feels like a good time to see if we could help people get involved in the leisure and tourism industry.
Recently, I stumbled across an amazing opportunity for young people to get monetary support towards outdoor instructor training which could unlock real employment opportunities.
We’ve all heard of the Prince’s Trust, but I didn’t realise the depth of the support they offer.
The Prince’s Trust offers grants to anyone who fits the criteria to complete training that will help find employment. You could get awarded up to £250 to use towards any training costs. Very helpful!
So if you’re;
● Aged 16 to 30 and living in the UK
● Studying less than 14 hours a week or not in compulsory education
● Unemployed or working less than 16 hours a week
You could become a Beach Lifeguard, Bushcraft Instructor or lead groups out in the beautiful Purbeck countryside.
