Land & Wave needs Seasonal Instructors during 2018
Seasonal Outdoor Instructor – £16, 744 (pro rata) from March or April until the start of November
Getting a job as a seasonal instructor for Land & Wave you’ll normally work 40 hours over an average of 5 days per week. This may include weekends, bank holidays, evenings and overnight work.
It’s a great chance to work in the great outdoors for a busy, people focused adventure company.
To get a job as a Seasonal Outdoor Instructor you will need to hold all of the essential qualifications listed below, plus some of the desirable ones.
We’re based in Swanage, Dorset on the Jurassic Coast. Land & Wave instructors are adventure guides, teachers, entertainers and coaches; they are kind, compassionate, gregarious human beings that can think on their feet and solve problems independently. Accommodation is available.
Essential qualifications and experience
UKCC BCU Level 1 coach BCU 3 star Sea award A coasteering qualification or technical sign off. SPA Training Some experience running sessions like Team Building, Raft Building or Bushcraft.
Desirable qualifications
Driving Licence SPA assessment D1 mini bus driving license BCU 4 star sea leader An assessed walking qualification Duke of Edinburgh Award Supervisor and Assessor Archery Leader The variety of work on offer is brilliant; we work with school groups, big companies, stag and hen groups, families, kids clubs, ladies nights…. Dorset offers superb opportunities for adventure; we have some of the best climbing, sea kayaking, coasteering, kite surfing and windsurfing in the country.
