What’s the deal?

We’re a well-established adventure company with over 15 years of experience in delivering epic school trips for kids. Whether it’s weekend stag and hen do’s or training the next generation of outdoor instructors through our Outdoor Instructor Academy (now celebrating its 13th year!), we’re the go-to hub for outdoor adventure in Dorset. We value experience and qualifications and believe your hard work deserves to be rewarded with competitive seasonal pay. We’re a committed Living Wage employer regardless of your age.

£25,396 pro rata

24 – 40 hours per week

Fixed Term (April – Sep/Oct)

We also want you to have time for your own adventures, so we offer consecutive days off where possible, free use of our outdoor gear during your downtime, and fun social events like beach BBQs, parties, foodie events and plenty of paddle outing.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Lowland Leader or equivalent
• RLSS National Water Safety Management Programme (Water Safety Awareness / Inland / Coastal)
• NCC Guide Award Training
• Paddlesport Instructor
• Personal Performance Award – Kayak
• Personal Performance Award – SUP
• Rock Climbing Instructor Training (RCI)
• Bushcraft NCFE Level 2 or equivalent
• Outdoor First Aid Level 3
• DofE Supervisor

‘Nice to Have’ but not essential…

• Paddlesport Leader
• Sea Kayak Leader
• NCC Coasteering Guide
• D1 Minibus Licence
• RLSS National Vocational Beach Lifeguard Qualification
• Experience working a season in the outdoor industry
• RCI Assessed

Key dates:

Training Weeks: 01 – 11 April 2025 (Yes, it’s paid!)

Contract Ends: 26 September 2025 (With potential extensions until the end of October TBC)

• 6 people passed their RCI (Rock Climbing Instructor)
• 11 became RLSS Beach Lifeguards
• 15 completed their Paddlesports Leader Assessment
