Land & Wave is an established adventure company with over 13 years experience in delivering epic school trips to kids. We’re the go-to hub for weekend stag and hen adventures and are celebrating our 10th year of training outdoor instructors as part of our Outdoor Instructor Academy. We value experience, qualifications and motivated instructors and we believe this should be reflected in seasonal pay.
We pay a first-year seasonal instructor £23,795 pro rata.
We pay more experienced, more qualified instructors with more desirable qualifications between £24,415 – £24,915 pro rata.
We also pay you extra bonuses for taking on extra responsibility throughout the summer. We make sure you have time for your own adventures by providing consecutive days off, free use of our outdoor equipment in your free time, fun socials like beach BBQs, parties, foodie events and silent discos.

Rock Climbing Instructor Training (RCI)
Lowland Leader
RLSS National Water Safety Management Programme Level 3
NCC Guide Award Training
Paddlesport Instructor
Personal Performance Award – Kayak
Personal Performance Award – SUP
Bushcraft NCFE Level 2 or Equivalent
Desirable Qualifications
Paddlesport Leader
Sea Kayak Leader
NCC Coasteering Guide
D1 Minibus Licence
RLSS National Vocational Beach Lifeguard Qualification
Worked a season in the outdoor industry
