If you’re thinking of becoming an Outdoor Instructor then joining in on one of our open days is the perfect way to get a real hands on experience of what its like to work in the outdoors.
Firstly you’ll join us in the office for a chat and to answer any questions you may have. This is also a great chance to meet and speak with other like minded people who’ll be joining you on the course.
Then we’ll head out on an activity, this is usually coasteering but this is weather dependent. If the weather is not up to par their are tones of activities that we can do, such as bushcraft, rock climbing and kayaking.
During the day you’ll be able to:
- See the course in action
- Talk to instructors and course managers
- Ask any questions
- Experience the quality coaching you get on the course
- Tour the fantastic accommodation
- Soak up the landscape and area
- Enjoy yourself on the session!
After your activity you will have earned an appetite, so its time for lunch. Then we’ll head out and give you a tour of our accommodation where you’ll be staying if you opt in. This is a fully catered accommodation with hearty hot meals 7 days a week. With twin or single rooms, and generous social spaces to chat with your new friends.
This event is based in Swanage and will start at 9:30am.
