About The PaddleSport Training
Here at Land & Wave, we’re a close-knit bunch of both family and friends, so you’ll be welcomed with open arms when you train with us.
7 Weeks | 10 Qualifications
The 10 National Governing Body qualifications have been carefully selected to give you the perfect mix of experience and knowledge to be able to get your first job in the outdoor industry.
Every day of the course is an incredible adventure. You’ll be exploring new locations along the Jurassic Coast as well as a week-long trip to Dartmoor to experience white water paddling.
We understand it’s a significant investment of your time and money to upskill, so to make sure you have the best success in getting a job we run evening seminars to really maximise your employment success.
Our evening workshops consist of CV writing, interview prep, an Outdoor Careers Fair and inspirational speakers.
Every Monday morning we also run a team energiser which will teach you much needed filler and enrichment games to help entertain your future clients.
We’ve been successfully training outdoor instructors for the last 10 years with over 220 graduates who now work in amazing outdoor jobs across the world.
The Fees & Dates
Everything you need to know about cost of the course:
- £3,350 (Coaching/assessment fees)
- £1,646 (Fully-catered accommodation)
- £850 (Kit Package)
- Total – £5,846
The only thing not covered in the course fees is your yearly membership to Paddle UK. This is around £45.

Finance Options
There are a few options for financing the training course with Land & Wave. The most important thing to us is to make sure you don’t put yourself into any financial difficulty trying to complete the course. The main thing to know is the course needs to be fully paid before you begin.
Option 1: You pay in full or in instalments via our payment plan set out by our finance team.
Option 2: Take out a loan
To make finding the best loan for you super simple we’ve partnered with *Ideal4Finance who match a finance plan to your own personal situation to ensure you get the best deal possible, basing their decision on factors such as your personal credit profile, the amount you want to borrow and your requested repayment period. This can be from 1 to 5 years.
