Through unlimited pre-course adventure sessions, you’ll gain exposure to professionally delivered outdoor activities, develop your understanding of industry standards, and begin building the logbook experience that many aspiring instructors struggle to access. Rather than waiting until your training begins, you’ll already be accumulating valuable outdoor experience from day one.
Throughout the course, experience remains at the heart of everything we do. Alongside 23 nationally recognised qualifications across paddlesports, climbing, coasteering, bushcraft, mountain biking, first aid, leadership, and rescue disciplines, you’ll be constantly applying your skills in real outdoor environments. This combination of qualifications and practical experience helps bridge the gap between training and employment.
You’ll also take part in three incredible expedition experiences included within the programme. From climbing in the Peak District to white-water paddling on the River Dart and specialist coasteering and rock climbing training on Dartmoor, you’ll experience a variety of landscapes and activities that help develop you into a well-rounded outdoor professional. These experiences broaden your skill set and prepare you for a diverse range of opportunities within the outdoor sector.
