WHAT TO BRING


Coasteering

  • Swimming costume to wear under the wetsuit
  • We suggest you arrive with your swim wear under your clothes
  • Trainers to wear in the water (NOT Crocs or wetsuit boots)
  • Shorts to wear over your wetsuit
  • Towel
  • Essential medical equipment – e.g. inhaler
  • Wetsuits, buoyancy aids, gloves, wetsuit socks and helmets are provided

Paddle Boarding

  • Swimwear and a dry set of clothes
  • We suggest you arrive with your swim wear under your clothes
  • Trainers to wear in the water
  • Essential medical equipment – e.g inhaler
  • Optional – Sunscreen, hat, chocolate, camera, drink
  • Wetsuit and buoyancy aid provided

Sea Kayaking

  • Clothes to get wet in and a dry set of clothes
  • We suggest you arrive with your swim wear under your clothes
  • Trainers to wear in the water
  • Essential medical equipment – e.g. inhaler
  • Optional – sunscreen, hat, chocolate, camera, drink
  • Jackets, salopettes, buoyancy aids and helmets are provided
  • Wetsuits are provided from September to April

Weapons in the Woods (bushcraft)

  • Dress for the weather. Consider suncream, hats, waterproofs etc
  • Wellies or boots are a good idea if it has rained recently
  • Essential medical equipment – e.g. inhaler
  • You are welcome to bring your own snacks & drinks

The Beast, The Warrior, The Survivor

  • Dress for the weather. Consider suncream, hats, waterproofs etc
  • Boots or sturdy shoes and warm layers
  • Sleeping bag if you are camping overnight (ground mats are provided)
  • Essential medical equipment – e.g. inhaler

We provide an evening meal and breakfast, but you are welcome to bring your own snacks & drinks

Hen Do Glamping

  • Warm sleeping bag and pillow
  • Food and drink
  • Camping chair
  • Disposable BBQ
  • Torch
  • If you require electric, please book the ‘Happy Hut’

DANCING LEDGE & HEDBURY: COASTEERING

Address: Dancing Ledge Car Park, Langton Matravers, near Swanage, BH19 3HG

Directions: Meet us in the car park at the end of Durnford Drove, up the gravel track. Please try to lift share or get a taxi to reduce the impact on the local community.  Be aware May – September ferry queues are very likely, please leave plenty of time or plan an alternative route to avoid disappointment. We walk for 15-20 minutes from car park to the location.

Information:  Land & Wave will meet you at the campsite entrance and show you around your new digs. Please call us 30 minutes prior to your arrival so we can meet you there.

SANDYHILLS: WOODLAND ACTIVITIES

Information: Your instructor will meet you about 200m past this postcode on Sandy Hills Lane. There is a blue wooden stake in the ground by the road to mark the meeting locations.


BURNBAKE: WOODLAND ACTIVITIES

Address: Burnbake Campsite, Rempstone, Corfe Castle, Wareham.  Use post code BH20 5JH for Sat Nav. Google Maps

Information: Your instructor will meet you at the entrance to Burnbake Campsite. The site is a 5 minute walk away.

Sandbanks location

SANDBANKS: KAYAKING & PADDLE BOARDING

Address: Sandbanks Beach Car Park, BH13 7QQ

Information: This is a Pay & Display car park. We are right by the car park, near the mini golf. NB. On sunny days, the car park queues are very long. If it’s sunny, please plan alternative parking and walk to the location to avoid disappointment.


OCEAN BAY: KAYAKING & PADDLE BOARDING

Address: Ocean Bay Beach, Swanage, BH19 1LH

Information: Meet us right on the beach in front of the Bull & Boat restaurant. There is pay and display parking on the near by roads. Be aware May – September ferry queues are very likely, please leave plenty of time or plan an alternative route to avoid disappointment.
