LEAP INTO THE SEA | A proper adventure on the Jurassic Coast
A coasteering session is three hours long - this includes getting changed and a 10 minute walk to the cliffs on the stunning Jurassic Coast in Portland.
Coasteering in Dorset is an incredible way to explore the coastline from the water. You'll scramble, climb and leap from rocks, explore incredible caves and play in the surf. You must be confident in the sea as this activity involves swimming.
You need to be aged 8+, a confident swimmer and be happy being in the sea. Consult your GP if you have any health conditions you think may impact your participation.
Coasteering is an adventurous outdoor activity. We meet at Sweet Hill Farm campsite and get changed discreetly there. Wear swimwear under your clothes to make this easier. Don't forget a towel. We provide the wetsuits and safety gear. You must wear old trainers on your feet - these WILL get wet!
All you need for coasteering is a towel, an old pair of trainers to wear in the water (no Crocs or water shoes - they'll fall off), a drink and a snack.
We provide a wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet and gloves.
Powerboat coasteering is available at our other location in Swanage. Meet at Swanage Pier in Swanage, Dorset (Pierhead Watersports) to get changed into wetsuits. Then head out for an epic private power boat trip around the stunning Jurassic Coast to your coasteering location - Dancing Ledge.
Here you'll enjoy a 2-hour coasteering experience; leaping from ledges, exploring incredible caves and seeing the coastline from a whole new perspective. Your private powerboat will then whisk you back to Swanage, where you can enjoy all the local pubs and restaurants Swanage has to offer. What a day!
Choose from two sessions:
09.30 - 13.00 or 13.30 - 17.00
Group size 6 - 11 people. Additional boat available on request.
