​What were you​ doing before the course?

I was a builder in Surrey

Why did you choose the Land & Wave course? 

I had made the choice to move to Swanage and I’m passionate about getting outdoors. So when I found out about this course being run on my doorstep, it was a no brainer.

Has the course lived up to your expectations? Has anything been better? 

The Accelerated Instructor Training course has surprised me in more ways than one, outstripping my expectations at every turn. But the thing that has surprised me the most is the mental health it promotes, doing what you love everyday really does make you happy.

What have you most enjoyed about the course? 

It’s hard to choose when you spend everyday doing great activities, but if I had to choose just one it would probably be bushcraft. There is something truly satisfying about being in the woods and smelling the fire.

What do you want to after the course? 

After the course I hope to work in the outdoor industry passing on all of my newly learnt skills.
